  Travel Has Always Been My Healer I've always loved the idea of travelling. Long before I actually started doing it, I travelled through television programmes and the pages of Lonely Planet guides. I'd buy the books, read about faraway places and imagine myself there one day. But I didn't actually start properly travelling until my late twenties. By then I'd made myself a promise. If I was going to travel, I wanted to go far. I wanted distant shores, different cultures and places that felt completely removed from everyday life.
